Help change the world for the better by doing a Volunteer Program abroad with WEP!

Our Volunteer Programs will take your off the beaten track and provide you with the opportunity to meet and interact with the native people, to learn about their lifestyle and culture from the inside and to fully integrate into their society and environment.

Roll up your sleeves and prepare to get your hands dirty; a Volunteer Program abroad is one of the finest ways to learn about and explore the richness and diversity of a culture firsthand.

Programs

Animal conservation

Help conserve wildlife in the four corners of the earth! WEP's animal conservation projects make it possible for participants to volunteer at nature reserves or centres for the protection of animals in Asia, Africa, Australia or the United States.

Through this type of project, you will learn diverse approaches to wildlife conservation while working alongside international volunteers and members of the local team.

By immersing yourself in the host country culture, you will have the opportunity to practise your language skills outside of the classroom setting and see the world from a different perspective!

Charitable project

Combine your desire to discover the world with the willingness to make yourself useful!

Participating in a charitable volunteer project abroad (in Africa, Asia or Latin America) essentially means that you are capable of thinking "outside of the box"... This is an opportunity to fully immerse yourself in the host society and environment by volunteering at a charitable organisation and bringing valuable assistance to the community. You will meet locals and learn about their lifestyle and culture while discovering the world from a different perspective! 

Construction / renovation projects

WEP construction and renovation projects engage participants who want to make a difference. These projects focus on building or renovating houses and public buildings as well as on other related projects in a foreign country.

By participating in a construction or a renovation project, you will fully immerse yourself in the host country and discover its culture from within, while making a positive impact on local living conditions!

Farmstay

Do you love nature and the great outdoors? With WEP's Farmstay program, you have the chance to discover another country from an original perspective!

In exchange for full room and board, you will live on a local farm and assist with a variety of daily tasks. Here is the opportunity to wrap yourself in another culture, to practise a foreign language and to learn about diverse farming techniques in another part of the world.

Language course & charitable project

WEP's language study & charitable project lets you combine a language study program with a volunteer project in the country of your choice! After several weeks of language courses on-site, you will volunteer for a local charitable project.

Boosting your language skills, discovering another culture and meeting people from all over the world has never been so rewarding!

 

Language course & construction project

Start off by improving your foreign language skills and then roll up your sleeves and take part in a construction project! Once your language level is up to par, you will focus on building or renovating houses or public buildings, and other construction projects abroad. 

By participating in this program, you will get to fully immerse yourself in the host country and discover its culture from within, while making a positive impact on the lives of the locals!

Language course & nature preservation

WEP's language study & nature preservation project lets you combine a language study program with a volunteer project in the country of your choice! 

After several weeks of language courses on site, you will volunteer to preserve the wilderness at a nature reserve or national park. Sometimes, the tasks entrusted to you will be challenging or physically laborious but they will always be incredibly rewarding!

Marine Conservation

Help preserve marine life by doing a Marine Conservation Program abroad... A unique opportunity to discover another language and culture, and engage with a team of international volunteers to make a concrete contribution to the preservation of the marine environment.

Nature preservation

Roll up your sleeves and get ready to restore and preserve the wilderness in the four corners of the earth! 

Depending on the specific needs as per the nature reserve or national park, you will participate in an assortment of activities, such as clearing roads and paths, installing fences and other enclosures, planting trees, restoring or preserving natural habitats, controlling erosion, and so on.

Sometimes, the tasks entrusted to you will be challenging or physically laborious but they will always be incredibly rewarding!

Ranchstay

Do you love nature, dogs and the great outdoors? With WEP's Ranchstay program, you have the chance to discover another country from an original perspective! 

In exchange for full room and board, you will live on a local ranch and assist with a variety of daily tasks. Here is the opportunity to wrap yourself in another culture, to practise a foreign language and to learn about ranching in another part of the world.
